Laus Polyphoniae Antwerpen
Every year, the highlight of the so-called early music festivals is the Laus Polyphoniae Festival in Antwerp. Particularly noteworthy are the seriousness of the programme and the diversity of works centred around a common theme. This year’s theme is polyphony in Europe around the year 1600, offering a fascinating overview from Portugal to Prague. Antwerp offers particularly charming concert venues, foremost among them the AMUZ Concert Church, but also other historic churches in Antwerp.
